Location

The National Music Museum is located at the corner of Clark and Yale Streets, on the south edge of the University of South Dakota campus in Vermillion, South Dakota. Campus map. Click here for Google Map directions.

(Note that the Museum's postal address is the postal address for the entire University of South Dakota: 414 E. Clark St, Vermillion, SD, 57069.)

Arriving in Vermillion, visitors can easily reach the NMM from any entry point. Follow the many city signs for the Museum.  

From the east, using the highway 50 business route (do not take the highway 50 bypass): go one block past the first traffic light and turn left (south) by Burger King onto Pine Street. Continue on Pine Street for three blocks until you come to a four-way stop. Turn right (west) onto Clark Street. Continue west on Clark Street for three blocks to Yale Street. The NMM is located on the northwest corner of Clark and Yale Streets. Parking information.

From the west, using the highway 50 bypass: exit the bypass by taking a right at Dakota Street (the street which passes by the west side of the Dakota Dome). Continue south through one traffic light and proceed two blocks to a four-way stop. Turn left (east) onto Clark Street. Continue east on Clark Street for two blocks to Yale Street. The NMM is located on the northwest corner of Clark and Yale Streets. Parking information.
